What You'll Accomplish: Lead the conceptualization and deployment of quantum-resistant algorithms, architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks, and collaborate with Nobel laureates to solve previously unsolvable problems. You'll drive R&D initiatives that position Nexus as the industry leader in post-2026 quantum ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks leveraging Qiskit and Cirq
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Publish research in IEEE Quantum journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms and NISQ-era optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Certification in quantum security (e.g., Quantum Computing Security Professional)
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum computing research grants
