Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography and simulation workloads
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control system integration
- Author technical whitepapers and patents for quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and research scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum error correction
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Experience leading quantum hardware development projects
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mechanisms
- Proficiency with high-performance computing and FPGA optimization
