Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Lead quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Research and implement novel quantum communication protocols
- Optimize quantum circuits for current and near-term quantum processors
- Mentor junior quantum developers in emerging quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in at least one classical high-performance computing framework
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
