Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for financial and healthcare applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures achieving 1000+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum error correction protocols
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonics)
- Define technical standards for quantum-safe blockchain and AI systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum-resistant cryptography
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware (D-Wave, IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Clearance for DoD/DOE quantum security projects
- Expertise in NIST post-quantum cryptography standards
