Responsibilities
- Develop proprietary quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Secure federal research grants (NSF/DOE) with $1M+ annual targets
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications annually in top-tier journals
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
- Collaborate with NASA/DARPA on classified quantum defense projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review X
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Strong background in high-performance computing (HPC) systems
- Security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
