Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Translate quantum algorithms into deployable hardware specifications
- File foundational patents in quantum system architecture
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum space computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing quantum computing hardware or error correction systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum architectures
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum chip fabrication processes
- Proven track record of leading quantum computing R&D projects
