Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research into quantum error correction techniques and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for enterprise-grade quantum networks
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in leading scientific journals
- Drive strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and cloud providers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum platforms
