Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead architecture for 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Partner with quantum hardware teams to optimize gate-level implementations
- Create quantum security frameworks for blockchain integration
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Publish research in IEEE/ACM quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms using Qiskit/Cirq/PennyLane
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency with high-performance computing architectures
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- SC clearance or ability to obtain
