Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for practical deployment in commercial environments
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize superconducting/qubit control systems
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic transitions
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review X) on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Experience with quantum annealing (D-Wave) and superconducting qubit platforms
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and Majorana fermions
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum research grants
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum initiatives
