Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-correction protocols for quantum stability
- Partner with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing interfaces
- Create roadmaps for quantum advantage implementation in cryptography, drug discovery, and materials science
- Secure patents for novel quantum algorithms and circuit designs
- Mentor junior researchers while staying current with quantum supremacy breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration and control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical quantum solutions
- Strong background in machine learning applications for quantum optimization
