In our state-of-the-art Austin facility, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to develop quantum algorithms, optimize error correction protocols, and design fault-tolerant architectures. You'll shape our roadmap for quantum supremacy in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead error correction protocol development to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware technologies (trapped ions, topological qubits)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps and technical blueprints to executive stakeholders
- Drive innovation in quantum-safe cryptography for next-gen security frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business value propositions
