Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems integrated with classical HPC infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for practical real-world applications
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify quantum advantage opportunities and create implementation roadmaps
- Stay current with quantum computing advancements through research publications and conference presentations
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ion, or photonic systems)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Track record of leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
- Certification in quantum computing architecture or equivalent industry recognition
