You'll leverage our $500M quantum infrastructure to develop algorithms that push the boundaries of computational possibility while ensuring commercial viability.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Design error-correction frameworks achieving >99.9% fidelity for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into existing cloud computing infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to next-generation cryptographic threats
- Publish peer-reviewed research and file foundational patents in quantum computing architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware limitations and mitigation strategies
- Track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD/NSF quantum projects
