Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for breakthrough computational applications
- Lead research on quantum neural networks and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI co-design architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Present findings at quantum computing conferences (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive open-source quantum-AI initiatives
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence principles
- Track record of securing government or corporate research funding
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and zero-knowledge proofs
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
