Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms optimized for next-gen AI models
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum neural network architectures
- Conduct advanced simulations on quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for novel quantum-AI methodologies
- Collaborate with industry partners to prototype real-world quantum applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning principles
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
