Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI optimization challenges
- Lead cross-functional research teams on quantum-AI integration projects
- Develop predictive models for quantum computing scalability beyond 2026
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI system performance
- Secure patents and publish research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience securing government or corporate research grants ($1M+)
- Proven track record of translating theoretical research into practical applications
