Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical AI models for real-world problem-solving
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum AI applications
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Collaborate with industry partners to translate research into commercial solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum/AI research
- Familiarity with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong analytical skills with complex mathematical modeling abilities
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
