Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for NLP and computer vision
- Develop error-corrected quantum circuits optimized for hybrid classical-quantum workflows
- Lead cross-functional projects with hardware engineers to prototype quantum-AI accelerators
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers/year in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for quantum-AI research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing principles
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms on hardware like Rigetti or IBM Q
- Expertise in TensorFlow Quantum or Cirq frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, QIP, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
