Responsibilities
- Architect and execute quantum-AI research frameworks for 2026 commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Develop novel quantum algorithms achieving exponential speedups over classical systems
- Secure federal grants and corporate partnerships for cutting-edge projects
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable industrial solutions
- Mentor next-gen researchers in quantum-AI convergence methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven track record of publishing quantum-AI breakthroughs (arXiv/IEEE)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction protocols
- Mastery of Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants or corporate R&D funding
