Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for neural network acceleration
- Develop error mitigation protocols for 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Create proprietary quantum circuit optimization frameworks using Python and Qiskit
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum AI accelerators
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum machine learning libraries
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 3+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (VQE, QAOA, Grover's variants)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Publication record in quantum information science
- Fluency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Ability to collaborate across physics, CS, and engineering domains
