Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement the high-level architecture for Project 2026's central processing units and decision-making algorithms.
- System Optimization: Drive performance improvements for latency reduction and computational efficiency in high-concurrency environments.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of senior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- R&D Integration: Translate theoretical research papers into production-ready code and deployable microservices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and safety engineers to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for the AI stack, evaluating emerging tools like Edge AI and Federated Learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within AI/ML or high-scale systems.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust. Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and distributed systems.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems in dynamic environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in agile/Scrum environments with rapid iteration cycles.
