Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal staff via phone and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for IT assets and consumables.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to identify and resolve recurring technical issues.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security patching.
- Document all support activities and create knowledge base articles for the team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or support role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and troubleshooting PC hardware.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
