Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 night shift staff, ensuring productivity targets and safety protocols are exceeded
- Coordinate inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving operations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency and cost reduction
- Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance across all processes
- Lead cross-functional communication between night/day shifts for operational continuity
- Manage equipment operations including forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated systems
- Prepare shift reports and performance metrics for daily management briefings
- Train and develop team members on new technologies and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift operations
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training required
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Advanced proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make independent decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for shift handovers
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
