Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 night shift warehouse staff, ensuring efficient operations and safety compliance
- Implement inventory control procedures to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks with precision and speed
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Resolve operational issues and optimize workflow in real-time
- Train and mentor new team members on safety protocols
- Generate performance reports and productivity metrics
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless transition
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience required
- Forklift certification (OSHA-certified preferred)
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and inventory management
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends as needed)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
