Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Manage team of 8-12 warehouse associates with performance evaluations and coaching
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems using WMS technology
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and quality teams
- Implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Generate daily performance reports and KPI tracking
- Handle escalated customer service inquiries regarding shipments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse management experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation knowledge
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
