Responsibilities
- Oversee all nightly warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 night shift associates with performance coaching
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and process improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with day shift and logistics partners
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges to management
- Conduct nightly audits and prepare comprehensive shift reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift leadership
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities with crisis management skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
