Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure and network stability during the night shift.
- Resolve complex technical tickets and escalations with a focus on first-contact resolution.
- Perform system backups, updates, and security patches in a non-production window.
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for the day team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Conduct nightly security audits and report on system health.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or IT operations.
- Must be available to work nights, including weekends.
- Strong proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and remote desktop tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and written communication abilities.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
