Responsibilities
- Resolve Technical Issues: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems reported by clients via phone and remote support channels.
- Customer Communication: Provide clear, empathetic, and professional technical support to customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction scores.
- Ticket Management: Accurately document all interactions, resolutions, and system changes in the Help Desk ticketing system.
- System Monitoring: Perform routine checks on server health and network performance to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Escalation Support: Recognize when a ticket requires escalation to senior engineers or specialized departments and facilitate the handoff smoothly.
- Adherence to Policy: Follow strict security protocols and company policies regarding data privacy and access control.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving technical issues efficiently.
