Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all night shift logistics operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound freight.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-incident workplace environment.
- Mentor and supervise a diverse team of warehouse associates, providing daily feedback and performance coaching.
- Manage inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts to minimize stock discrepancies.
- Monitor equipment functionality and schedule preventative maintenance for forklifts and conveyor systems.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and emergency issues during peak hours with minimal supervision.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily shift reports to upper management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics supervision.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, inventory management systems, and shipping procedures.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
