Responsibilities
- Oversee Night Operations: Manage and direct all daily activities during the night shift to ensure maximum productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA safety protocols and conduct nightly safety briefings to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock transfers, and ensure accurate documentation of night shift stock movements.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise a diverse team, conducting shift handovers and addressing personnel issues immediately.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the night process and implement strategic solutions to streamline logistics operations.
- Equipment Management: Inspect and maintain warehouse machinery and forklifts to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of motivating teams and maintaining high morale during non-standard hours.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Certification: Forklift certification is required.
