Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during overnight shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient care between departments during night operations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide bedside support
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work rotating night shift schedules
