Responsibilities
- Monitor System Health: Proactively monitor servers, networks, and applications to ensure 24/7 availability and stability.
- Ticket Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve IT support tickets escalated during the night shift, prioritizing critical issues.
- Incident Management: Respond to and manage system outages or security alerts immediately, coordinating with day-shift teams as needed.
- Software Deployment: Manage scheduled patch deployments, software updates, and system backups during low-traffic hours.
- User Support: Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to employees, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration (Night Shift experience is a plus).
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting protocols.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote support.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts on a full-time basis.
