Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical IT infrastructure and server environments during evening and overnight hours.
- Provide tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal employees via phone and ticketing systems.
- Perform system patches, security updates, and routine maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets with urgency and high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to document issues and ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Conduct basic hardware and software installations and configurations.
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate service logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or Network Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Ability to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
