Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware and software issues during the night shift.
- Monitor server health, network performance, and security alerts to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, patch management, and data backups outside of business hours.
- Respond to critical tickets and resolve technical issues with minimal downtime.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in the IT service desk.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over unresolved issues and ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical operations.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
