Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic laboratory tests
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Update and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EHR systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Tennessee Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
