Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily freight shipments across Louisville metro and Illinois corridors
- Optimize transportation routes using WMS/TMS systems
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate rates
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless dock operations
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards
- Ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years logistics/transportation coordination experience
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS software (Manhattan, Blue Yonder preferred)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience managing multi-state shipping lanes
