Job Description
Are you ready to architect the future of technology? Aether Dynamics is at the forefront of the 2026 Horizon Initiative, a revolutionary project aiming to redefine human-machine interaction through advanced neural interfaces and next-gen computing paradigms. We are seeking a visionary Lead Systems Architect to guide our engineering team in building scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure for our most ambitious product launch yet.
In this role, you won't just maintain systems; you will build the foundation for the future. You will bridge the gap between theoretical AI research and robust, production-ready engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Define and oversee the technical roadmap for the 2026 Initiative, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and emerging technological trends.
- System Design: Lead the design of complex distributed systems, high-availability cloud architectures, and edge computing solutions capable of processing petabytes of real-time data.
- Integration & Optimization: Spearhead the integration of quantum computing prototypes with classical AI models to enhance processing power.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols and ensure all systems comply with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR) as applicable to the 2026 infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and R&D teams to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health and performance metrics, proactively identifying bottlenecks and optimizing resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD is highly preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- AI & ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines, neural networks, and AI integration patterns.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, unstructured problems and make high-stakes technical decisions under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Proven experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
