Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap aligning with company vision and market disruption opportunities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI) and geopolitical trends to identify high-impact investment opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, marketing, and finance teams to translate foresight into actionable plans
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for trend intelligence
- Present compelling future scenarios to stakeholders using data-driven storytelling and predictive modeling
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible development of breakthrough technologies
- Oversee the Horizon 2026 incubator program nurturing 10+ moonshot projects annually
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or executive leadership with proven impact on future-shaping initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in emerging tech or strategic foresight (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Track record of driving large-scale transformation initiatives valued at $100M+
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or innovation management (e.g., CPSI)
