Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning methodologies to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Lead cross-functional scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on climate resilience, AI governance, and neurotech integration
- Author quarterly Future State Briefings synthesizing geopolitical, economic, and technological vectors
- Design quantitative forecasting models using proprietary AI tools and open-source trend analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through immersive data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and manage innovation pipeline prioritization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related quantitative field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., STEEP, Delphi, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., GPT-4, Palisade @Risk, custom Python models)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or adjacent domains (white papers, journals)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ high-impact strategic frameworks implemented by major organizations
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI safety)
