Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026-2030 horizons
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech disruptions
- Produce trend analysis reports and white papers for Fortune 500 partners
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Establish thought leadership through keynote speeches and industry publications
- Design and implement organizational futures literacy programs
- Secure and manage $5M+ research grants from federal and private entities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, strategic foresight, or innovation leadership
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on 2020s technology or societal megatrends
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and weak signal analysis
- Proven track record guiding C-suite on emerging technology adoption
- Experience securing government innovation grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI governance, or climate resilience
