Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define the architectural roadmap for AI systems leading up to and beyond 2026, ensuring scalability and future-proofing.
- System Design: Design and implement robust, high-performance neural network architectures and machine learning pipelines.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives in Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI to stay ahead of the curve.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior architects and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical AI solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize model latency, throughput, and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering and 5+ years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of distributed computing and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Language Models: Proven experience in training, fine-tuning, or deploying Large Language Models.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance engineering teams and drive technical strategy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
