Responsibilities
- Tier 1 & 2 Support: Resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- System Deployment: Set up new workstations, configure operating systems (Windows/Linux), and install necessary software applications.
- Network Maintenance: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Help Desk Management: Log and track all IT tickets in our system to ensure timely resolution and SLA compliance.
- User Administration: Manage Active Directory accounts, reset passwords, and configure security permissions.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on printers, scanners, and peripherals to ensure uptime.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (CompTIA A+ preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and DNS.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends during peak times if required.
