Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and strategists to deliver prototype-to-market solutions
- Identify emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess market disruption potential
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through stakeholder presentations and ROI-driven proposals
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders for collaborative R&D
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
- Report quarterly to C-suite on innovation KPIs and portfolio performance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation leadership, with 5+ in tech-forward industries
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products or services
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, or quantum computing)
- Strong financial acumen for R&D budgeting and ROI analysis
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals or platforms
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
