Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of logistics staff to maintain high productivity and morale standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with supply chain partners and vendors to resolve logistical issues and optimize inventory levels.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment maintenance checks to prevent workplace accidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
- Proven track record of leadership, including experience managing a team of 10 or more employees.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
