Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and wound dressing
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain a clean, organized exam environment
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
- Handle patient scheduling and basic billing tasks
- Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or diploma
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ohio state license in good standing
- Flexible availability including evenings/weekends
