Responsibilities
- Manage daily freight operations, including scheduling pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
- Monitor carrier performance and negotiate rates to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, bills of lading, and inventory levels using TMS software.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and logistical bottlenecks immediately to prevent service interruptions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate delivery timelines to clients.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
