Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently use forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to move inventory.
- Receiving and Shipping: Accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities and condition of goods.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels using our inventory management system and perform cycle counts.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and tidy to ensure safety and efficiency for all team members.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting and organizing inventory.
- Forklift Certification: Possession of a valid forklift license is highly desirable (training available).
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available for overtime when required.
