Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain medical equipment including ECG monitors and infusion pumps
- Document patient data accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Assist clinicians with telemedicine consultations and remote monitoring
- Train staff on new healthcare technology implementations
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all digital patient interactions
- Collaborate with IT department for system troubleshooting
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations (2x/month)
Qualifications
- Associate degree in healthcare technology or related field
- CERTIFIED BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN (CBET) preferred
- 2+ years experience with medical device troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
