Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, data scientists, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technological disruption vectors
- Secure $50M+ annual R&D funding through compelling innovation narratives
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Biotechnology with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ products launched)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or swarm robotics
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations in relevant fields
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants or DARPA contracts
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq) and neuro-symbolic frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable ethical AI systems with real-world impact
