Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product blueprints
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and external investors
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
- Manage a $5M innovation budget for experimental initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on emerging tech trends (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience with patent analysis and technology scouting
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (preferred)
